Anyone interested in memoir writing is encouraged to attend the free workshop tonight, 6:30 p.m., with Al Ortolani, published poet and writing instructor. This event is part of “Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War,” a statewide oral history project to commemorate 50 years since the escalation of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. eLibrary now available!

Our eLibrary is up and running! Our patrons now have access to downloadable e-books and audiobooks!

You’ll need a special number and PIN to log in, so visit the library to sign up! Once you’re signed up, click on the eLibrary tab here on our website. Then click on Sunflower eLibrary, select Hesston Public Library from the drop down list, enter your card number and PIN, and you’re on your way!

Once on the Sunflower eLibrary site, there is a wide array of help topics,  lists of compatible devices, and other helpful tools. If you had a question that you can’t find the answer to there, contact the library at 620.327.4666 or hesstonpubliclibrary@gmail.com.

We’ll have two Intro to eLibrary sessions next week – at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, and at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 29 – so come learn more about what the eLibrary has to offer!
