Anyone interested in memoir writing is encouraged to attend the free workshop tonight, 6:30 p.m., with Al Ortolani, published poet and writing instructor. This event is part of “Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War,” a statewide oral history project to commemorate 50 years since the escalation of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. Story Hour @ the library

“Something Old, Something New” is the theme for 2010-2011 Story Hour.

Story Hour is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the library during the school year and is for children ages 3 to 6. Story Hour Teacher Darla Harms-Becker promotes an early love of reading through stories and activities.
