Anyone interested in memoir writing is encouraged to attend the free workshop tonight, 6:30 p.m., with Al Ortolani, published poet and writing instructor. This event is part of “Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War,” a statewide oral history project to commemorate 50 years since the escalation of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. Used book sale

We will be having a used book sale from this Friday at noon (Nov. 16) until the library closes next Wednesday (Nov. 21). The book sale will be in the community room and be available whenever the library is open.

We have lots of items to choose from, most priced at $1 or less! We have children’s books, adult books, recent bestsellers, cookbooks, religious books and much more. All proceeds benefit the library’s Summer Reading Program, and we appreciate your support!
